They don’t give a room if you are black and French

“I arrived at this hotel in Jakarta on Wednesday, February 21st in the evening with my Indonesian mother-in-law, my husband who is of Indonesian-French descent, our two children, and myself, who am French and black. The receptionist refused to check us in because she claimed she had no proof of my French nationality. I possess French documents, namely a passport and an ID card, and I speak French. She, on the other hand, could not verify whether I spoke French or not. Anyway, she refused to give us rooms that were available as she claimed. She was willing to give us a room only if my mother-in-law stayed with us. Essentially, they are just racists. They refused to give us a room because I am black. Black. Black. That’s it. So, I experienced blatant racism tonight in Jakarta and I am deeply traumatized by it. Therefore, if you are black, do not stay at this hotel, simple as that.”

Do not stay here,the room was absolutely stinking a combination of food and raw sewage.The bed sheets were covered in stains probably bodily flewids.The towels haven't been replaced since the place opened 30 years ago and were like sandpaper.The bedside units were covered in fag burns.There was mould in the bathroom and flees in the mattress.Truley the worst place I have ever slept and I have slept on the street in Melbourne Australia before and it was cleaner than this place.AVOID AVOID AVOID

This is at best a 2 star hotel. Nearly all day f the review are from 2016 or 2017. At that time this may have been a 4 star hotel but time has not been kind. Of the 3 floors of rooms, only 2 are in use. Additionally, the restaurant and conference floors also appear to be abandoned. I suspect this hotel closed in 2017 and only opens to accommodate Covid quarantine. The Good: - the food, Indonesian was not bad. - the staff was very responsive to request and probably the first me bright spot - the facility has great potential and likely at the one time lived up to those reviews from 5 or 6 years ago. I would love to see this hotel refurbished - Location. I enjoyed exploring the area. - Air-conditioning worked well The Bad: - was overwhelmed by the smell upon initially entering the building luckily you become attenuated to the smell quickly. I hope others do not smell it on me - bed linens and towels were worn and dingy - there were roaches and gnats - the room was dirty with ashes and dirt on the floor - the bathroom was dirty including the tub with bathtub ring - a sign on the exercise room says it is under repair but there is no evidence of ongoing work in the dilapidated facility - spartan room: bed, writing desk; armoire. No sofa, lounging chair, tables, art, etc. I wish this hotel lived up to its beautiful structural potential but I cannot recommend enough not to stay here.

We missed our room at the hotel next door, so we chose Amos Cozy A very bad hotel with bad service. Not that cheap at all. We have chosen a junior suite, because we had 4 big suitcases, that will never fit in a standard room. Bathroom, we got worn shower gel (1/2 bottle) Dirty toilet was not fixed and dirty, dirty full of spots on the plug. Dirty and filthy towels and bed sheets Will never and ever back again

I have three days packages meeting. for first day actually there many problem about projector and banquet always standby to help start at 7am. For the rest of the day everything the event is great. the food is very delicious and can handle at injury time and for the services is execellence.
